Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Mavis Nkansah Boadu, met with an eight-member delegation from the Chinese Association for International Understanding on Wednesday, May 8th. The visit highlighted the growing ties between the two nations.

H.E. Liu Hongcai, leader of the delegation and Vice President of the Association, emphasized the long-standing relationship between Ghana and China, established in the 1950s. He praised the deepened cooperation under the current leadership and expressed hope for further collaboration in trade, culture, tourism, and people-to-people exchanges. China, Hongcai added, stands ready to partner with African nations like Ghana to bolster economic development.
