The presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), Omoyele Sowore, has responded to statements made by his All Progressives Congress (APC) counterpart, Bola Tinubu, who claimed that fuel scarcity and the redesigning of some Naira notes by the government are attempts to sabotage the upcoming general elections.
Sowore stated that Tinubu’s comments were not surprising, as he sometimes speaks in tongues.
Sowore also suggested that Tinubu’s statements reveal a fractured relationship within the top hierarchy of the ruling party, and that President Muhammadu Buhari is actually working for another candidate.
Sowore added that Tinubu’s statements are a plea for people not to vote for him and his party, and urged Nigerians to consider the implications of this message.
