Highlighting the importance of capital mobilization for economic growth in Africa, Tinubu stressed the need for inclusive programs that involve the entire world to drive agriculture, food security, innovation, and technological advancement.

Touching on the situation in the Sahel region, President Tinubu urged global leaders to pay attention to the root causes of instability and poverty. He emphasized the importance of taking necessary actions to promote growth, stability, and economic prosperity in West Africa.

Reflecting on Nigeria’s economic reforms, Tinubu discussed tough decisions taken, such as removing fuel subsidies and managing currency issues, to reset the economy on the path to growth. He underscored the importance of prioritizing the interests of the people and ensuring transparency, accountability, and fiscal discipline.

The President’s remarks received praise from Kristalina Georgieva, Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund, who commended Tinubu’s insights on executing strategic economic reforms with a human touch.

Joining the discussion, President Paul Kagame of Rwanda emphasized the significance of inclusive economic growth, highlighting Africa’s expanding middle class as a strategic asset for the continent’s development.
