Athens, Greece – Dr. Ali Obaid Al Dhaheri officially began his duties as the United Arab Emirates’ Ambassador to Greece following a credential presentation ceremony at the Presidential Mansion in Athens.
President Katerina Sakellaropoulou of Greece received Al Dhaheri’s credentials, which formally establish him as the UAE’s diplomatic representative in the country. Al Dhaheri conveyed warm wishes from UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and Vice President Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, expressing their desire for continued growth and prosperity between the two nations.
President Sakellaropoulou reciprocated the greetings and extended her best wishes for the UAE’s government and people. Highlighting Greece’s support for Al Dhaheri’s role, she expressed her hope for further strengthening bilateral relations across various sectors.
Al Dhaheri, expressing his pride in representing the UAE in Greece, emphasized his commitment to fostering cooperation in various areas. He believes this will solidify the strong ties of friendship between the two countries.
The ceremony also included discussions on existing cooperation initiatives and exploring avenues for further development.
