Russia’s Foreign Ministry on Friday pressed the United States to share any information it might have regarding the deadly concert attack near Moscow. The attack, which killed dozens and injured many more, has heightened tensions between the two countries.
Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova specifically questioned the basis for the White House’s earlier statement that there was “no indication” Ukraine was involved.

“On what basis do officials in Washington draw any conclusions in the midst of a tragedy about someone’s innocence?” Zakharova demanded.
She went further, stating that if the US possesses relevant information, it should be shared. Conversely, if they lack information, they should refrain from commenting altogether.
The Kremlin has yet to officially pin blame for the attack, though the Islamic State militant group has claimed responsibility.
