South Africa’s Director-General for International Relations and Cooperation (DIRCO), Mr. Zane Dangor, is set to visit Kyiv this week in a significant move towards fostering peace in war-torn Ukraine.
This high-level diplomatic mission underscores South Africa’s unwavering commitment to finding a lasting solution to the ongoing conflict. Mr. Dangor is expected to be joined by Advocate Nokukhanya Jele, the Legal Advisor to President Cyril Ramaphosa, for talks with senior Ukrainian officials scheduled for Wednesday, March 20th, 2024.
The visit to Kyiv is part of a series of ongoing diplomatic efforts undertaken by South Africa at both bilateral and multilateral levels.
