Guatemala City, Guatemala: Ahmed Hatem Al Menhali, UAE Ambassador to Mexico and non-resident Ambassador to Guatemala, witnessed the inauguration of Bernardo Arévalo as the new President of Guatemala on January 18th. The ceremony, held in Guatemala City, marked the beginning of a new chapter in the relationship between the two nations, with both sides expressing strong desires to deepen bilateral cooperation.
Ambassador Al Menhali conveyed warm greetings and best wishes for success from the UAE leadership, including President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and Vice President and Chairman of the Presidential Court Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan. President Arévalo reciprocated these sentiments, extending his own wishes for continued prosperity for the UAE.
