Al Arish, Egypt – A beacon of hope docked in Al Arish today as a UAE aid ship carrying a massive 4,016 tonnes of humanitarian supplies arrived, ready to ease the suffering of Palestinians in Gaza. This latest delivery, part of the ongoing “Gallant Knight 3” operation, underscores the UAE’s unwavering commitment to its Palestinian brothers and sisters.

The ship’s arrival was met by high-ranking officials from both nations, including Sultan Mohammed Al Shamsi, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for International Development, and Mariam Khalifa Al Kaabi, UAE Ambassador to Egypt. Their presence symbolized the importance of this mission, aimed at alleviating the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.

Packed with 3,465 tons of food, 420 tons of shelter materials, and 131 tons of medical aid, the ship carried a tangible message of support. The supplies, provided by the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, and the Emirates Red Crescent, represent a lifeline for families struggling under the harsh realities of Gaza.

“The UAE was one of the first to reach out to the people of Gaza,” affirmed Sultan Al Shamsi, his words echoing the nation’s unwavering commitment. “This aid reaffirms our unwavering stand with the Palestinian people during their hardships.”

Rashid Al Mansouri, Deputy Secretary-General of the Local Affairs Sector at the Emirates Red Crescent, further emphasized the UAE’s dedication to long-term support. “This latest delivery builds upon our ongoing efforts to assist the Palestinian people through development projects and initiatives,” he stated.

The “Gallant Knight 3” operation has already delivered over 7,523 tons of aid to Gaza, with 111 aircraft and more than 63 trucks contributing to the airlift and ground transport.
