South Africa and the Seychelles are celebrating 30 years of cordial diplomatic relations, which were established in 1992.
This week, the Joint Commission of Cooperation (JCC) between the two countries will review the progress made on a number of areas of cooperation, including trade and investment, fisheries, the blue economy, agriculture, tourism, arts and culture, and health.
The Seychelles delegation is led by the High Commissioner to South Africa, Mr. Claude Morel, who will co-chair the meeting with the Acting Deputy Director-General: Africa, Ambassador T. Seokolo.
The JCC meeting is expected to strengthen the ties between the two countries and explore new opportunities for collaboration in areas of mutual interest.
