President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan arrived in the State of Qatar on a working visit on October 2, 2023. He was welcomed by Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani upon his arrival at Doha International Airport.
Sheikh Mohamed is accompanied by a delegation that includes Vice President and Prime Minister Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Special Affairs Advisor at the Presidential Court Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for National Security Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Minister of Climate Change and Environment Mariam bint Mohammed Almheiri, Minister of Investment Mohamed Hassan Alsuwaidi, Minister of State Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar, Minister of State Noura bint Mohammed Al Kaabi, and UAE Ambassador to Qatar Sheikh Zayed bin Khalifa bin Sultan bin Shakhboot Al Nahyan.
The purpose of the visit is to attend the opening of the International Horticultural Expo 2023 in Doha. The expo is expected to attract over 25 million visitors from around the world.
