Addis Ababa, August 3, 2023 – In a significant diplomatic encounter, the State Minister for Foreign Affairs, H.E. Ambassador Mesganu Arga, welcomed H.E. Ulvi Mehdieyev, the Chairman of the Azerbaijani State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations (ASAN), at his office today.
During their fruitful discussion, the State Minister praised the commitment of the Azerbaijani Government to engage with Ethiopia in matters related to public service delivery. Highlighting the Ethiopian Government’s keen interest in adopting the successful Azerbaijani approach, he emphasized the potential benefits of learning from their experiences to propel comprehensive reforms at both the federal and regional levels within Ethiopia.
Mr. Mehdieyev, reciprocating the enthusiasm, expressed his government’s eagerness to strengthen collaboration in various areas of shared concern. Beyond public service innovations, he highlighted the possibilities of cooperation in developmental support, education, tourism, and fostering cultural ties.
