On the morning of August 2, 2023, His Excellency Ouch Borith, the Prime Minister’s Deputy and the Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, engaged in a courteous meeting with Mrs. Bridgette L. Walker, the Deputy Head of Mission at the U.S. Embassy in Phnom Penh. The encounter served as an introduction as Mrs. Walker undertakes her new diplomatic responsibilities in Cambodia.

With warm reception, His Excellency Ouch Borith extended a hearty welcome to Mrs. Walker and expressed the Ministry’s commitment to provide unwavering support throughout her tenure.

During the interaction, the two parties exchanged insights into their existing collaborative efforts, delving into both regional and international matters. Recognizing the substantial significance of the U.S. as a vital market for Cambodia, the discussion encompassed the mutual interest in fostering increased U.S. investments within Cambodia.
