Rome, Italy – Luiss School of Government is thrilled to announce the commencement of the 2nd edition of the Executive First Level Master in Global Public Diplomacy and Sustainable Development, accompanied by the arrival of 25 esteemed African diplomats. This groundbreaking program, a collaborative effort between Luiss SoG and the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), with the invaluable support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI), signifies a significant milestone in promoting sustainable development and enhancing effective public diplomacy on a global scale.

The participation of distinguished diplomats from a range of African nations enriches this initiative by bringing a wealth of knowledge, experience, and diverse perspectives to the table. Their presence underscores the commitment of African countries to actively engage in shaping sustainable development agendas and fostering meaningful international relations.

To mark the auspicious occasion, a special welcoming session was held, graced by prominent figures including Giovanni Orsina, the esteemed Dean at Luiss SoG, Giuseppe Mistretta, Director for Sub-Saharan Africa at MAECI, and Hanna Knutsen, representing the Division for Multilateral Diplomacy at UNITAR. These influential leaders extended warm greetings and emphasized the significance of collaborative efforts in advancing global public diplomacy and sustainable development goals.

The Executive First Level Master in Global Public Diplomacy and Sustainable Development offers a comprehensive curriculum, blending academic expertise with practical insights from experienced diplomats and policymakers.
