Slovak President invites King Charles III to visit Slovakia after coronation

Slovak President Zuzana Caputova congratulated King Charles III on his coronation and extended an invitation for him to visit Slovakia. The president made the announcement on her Facebook account following a reception at Buckingham Palace on Friday, which was held in honor of the king’s coronation. Caputova expressed her appreciation for the monarch’s positive attitude towards Slovakia and his memory of his visit to the country.

During the reception, the president conveyed Slovakia’s congratulatory message to the king and reported his vivid reaction to the country. Caputova further added that the king always reacts positively to Slovakia and that his visit to the country left a lasting impression on him.

In addition to her Facebook post, Caputova also took to Twitter to wish King Charles III “all the best and strength for a leadership that reflects the potential and diversity of today’s UK, The Commonwealth and its role in tackling global challenges”. The president emphasized the growing intensity of Slovak-British relations and expressed her hope for further strengthening the bond between the two countries.

The coronation of King Charles III took place in London on Saturday, and the event was attended by various dignitaries and heads of state. The Slovak president was present at the event, and her invitation for the king to visit Slovakia was well received by the media in London.
