Foreign Affairs Minister Nasser Bourita Holds Meeting with Vice-President of Zambian National Assembly

Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Morocco, Nasser Bourita, met with the 1st Vice-President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Zambia, Malungo Chisangano, on Monday, as part of her working visit to Morocco.

Rabat, Morocco – Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Morocco, Nasser Bourita, met with the 1st Vice-President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Zambia, Malungo Chisangano, on Monday, as part of her working visit to Morocco. Malungo Chisangano, who was leading a large parliamentary delegation, expressed her country’s desire to establish joint projects between the two countries and strengthen bilateral relations between Rabat and Lusaka.

Mulambo Hamakuni Haimbe, a parliamentarian and member of the Zambian delegation visiting Morocco, highlighted that these discussions marked a new stage of cooperation and viewed them as an opportunity for the people of Zambia to learn more about the culture of the Kingdom of Morocco and interact more freely in North Africa. He also emphasized the potential for collaboration in various sectors, particularly industry, between Rabat and Lusaka.

During their visit, the Zambian delegation also engaged in discussions at a high level with the President of the House of Representatives and the House of Councillors, according to the delegation’s official statement. The meetings were described as productive and aimed at further enhancing the bilateral ties between Morocco and Zambia.

This meeting between Minister Nasser Bourita and Vice-President Malungo Chisangano reflects the continued efforts of Morocco and Zambia to strengthen their diplomatic relations and explore opportunities for collaboration in various fields. Both countries expressed their commitment to deepening their partnership and fostering mutual understanding and cooperation.
